Individual observer's data:
BAM
The tables below provide individual observer data for each
condition/experiment the observer participated in as tab delimited
text. For each experiment/condition we provide two data files.
The first table specifies the palette reflectance matched to each
presented test on each trial. The format of this table is:
- Column 1: log10 test luminance (log 10 cd/m2)
- Column 2: 1st match (specified as log 10 palette paper
reflectance; -Inf -> darker than darkest palette paper; Inf ->
lighter than Munsell 9.5 but appears as a surface; NaN -> glowing)
- Column 3: 2nd match (same format as column 2)
- Column 4: 3rd match (same format as column 2)
The second table contains the same data, but rearranged to make
explicit the test luminances matched to each palette paper. These
tables may be obtained from the first but are provided for convenience.
- Column 1: log10 palette paper reflectance
- Additional columns provide test luminance matched to each paper.
- Number of additional columns is determined by the maximum number of
matches to any palette paper.
- NaN is used to fill out columns for palette papers with fewer than
maximum number of matches made to them.
We provide also a figure showing model fit through the data as well as the response
function for this observer for the experiment/condition s/he participated in. Each figure
consists of two subplots:
- Subplot on the left represents the average test log 10
luminance plotted against the palette paper log 10 reflectance for this
observer. The line throught the data points respresents the model fit. The
format of the figure matches the format of the data plots provided in
the paper.
- Subplot on the right represents the response functions
for this
observer in a given experiment. The format of the figure matches the
format of the response function plots provided in the paper.
